大陸方面允諾M503航路延後實施，W121等3條航路現階段不啟用、不實施，總統府表示，馬英九總統對此事非常重視，對於雙方溝通後的初步結果「雖仍不甚滿意，但勉予接受」。
大陸1月片面劃設M503等新航路，引發藍綠立委強烈不滿，立法院也在上會期發表共同聲明，明確表達反對立場。對兩岸達成初步共識，總統府表示，馬英九總統對此事非常重視，曾多次親自主持國安相關會議研商因應對策。對於陸委會與交通部在協商過程中，堅持維護我方權益的努力與表現表示肯定。
